Nymph fly patterns imitate the larval stage of aquatic insects, which represent over 90% of the trout diet. Nymph flies can be fished alone, under a Strike Indicator, or under a larger dry fly like a Foam Hopper in an Indicator rig. Bead heads and Double Bead bodies help the flies get quickly deep in the water column where the trout feed.
